As a Junior Account Manager at Simplicity Group, you will be responsible for maintaining existing customer base by identifying potential renewals, meeting with customers face to face and virtually to nourish relationships and ensure you are meeting their needs and expectations. You will need to be able to manage your own workload and use your own initiative to make decisions that will benefit your customer base. Liaising with other departments with Simplicity Group is vital in this role to ensure success. This role offers an opportunity to learn and develop your customer service/sales skills within a fast-paced telecommunications company.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify key prospective targets within assigned accounts using our CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships, with a focus on developing your own pipeline.
  • Liaising closely with other departments within Simplicity Group to ensure success.
  • Gain a clear understanding of current clients’ businesses and demonstrate how Simplicity Group’s products can continue to benefit them.
  • Present Simplicity Group’s solutions to key contacts through direct communication via telephone calls, emails, and web demonstrations.
  • Provide feedback to the business on any customer issues or concerns related to our products and services.
  • Provide consultative support in finding the right solutions for clients’ needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date contact records and account plans using Salesforce.
  • Meet and report on productivity and performance KPIs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and strive for overperformance.
  • Always maintain a professional and positive image of the business.

Experience needed:

  • Proven experience in customer service or a similar role, with a track record of meetings KPIs.
  • Understanding of the telecommunications industry, particularly phone systems.
  • Ability to manage your own workload.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused with a strong emphasis on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • Qualification in IT/Marketing/Business will be considered.
